There are 6 choices of sizes and colours so we are confident we have a product to suit your taste. What size of Harness for your bird?:

• Petite - For birds from 75-110 grams. Suitable for Cockatiels, Small Conures
• Extra Small - For birds from 110-190 grams. Suitable for Senegals, Quakers, Caiques, Ringnecks, Rosellas, Medium Conures (Sun Jenday, Nanday, Blue-Crowned etc), Hahns Macaw.
• Small - For Birds from 190-450 grams. Suitable for Small Cockatoos (Goffins, Galah, Lesser Sulphur etc), Most Amazons (Blue-Front, Lilac-Crowned, Orange-Winged etc), Timnehs, Jardines, Poinus.
• Medium - For birds from 450-600 grams. Suitable for African Greys, Eclectus, Larger Amazons (Mealy, Double Yellow Headed etc), Umbrella Cockatoos, Medium Macaws (Severe, Red Fronted etc).
• Large - For birds 600-1000 grams. Suitable for Large Macaws (Blue & Gold, Military etc), Triton, Most Moluccans.
• Extra Large - For birds from 1000-1600 grams. Suitable for Hyacinth and Green-Winged Macaws, Large Moluccans.

  A. HI Stephen,

  Thank you for your question. The Aviator Parrot Harness is a more advanced harness, it allows your parrot to have more freedom whilst wearing it as they are able to fly. The Aviator Parrot Harness has an elasticated leash that is permanently attached to the harness, it does not have a separate lead.

  With parrots of all ages it can take a while for them to get used to the harness as it is something new and they are probably quite scared as they now have straps around their body which they are not used to. It is important to slowly introduce the harness to your Macaw. Keep it in view of your parrot and gradually move it closer to him/her over time so then your Macaw will know that it is still there and it is not going to him/her. It may take several attempts to fit the harness but please be patient as it is new to your Macaw.

  The Aviator Harness is easy to fit as there are not as many buckles and fasteners like other harnesses on the market today. The Aviator Parrot Harness also comes with a DVD that shows you how to fit the harness and how to use the harness correctly.
