The Double Door Car Dog Cage is a great piece for travelling, working with the shape of your car to house your dog safely while in transit. This cage is shaped to work with the boot door of a hatchback, but can be incorporated into other styles of car, working well with the back seats folded down for extra room.

This cage is made with two access points for your dog, one in the front and one in the rear. The Double Door Car Dog Cage is a tall, thin piece at the top that incorporates a wide base, allowing your dog to spread out while travelling as the cage fits well into your car. The two doors provide entrance and exit from either the boot door or via the back seat, which ever you prefer. Along with these, the Double Door Car Dog Cage is also fitted with a sturdy handle at the top, great for lifting and carrying your dog if need be.

A traditional wire mesh cage makes up the main body of the Double Door Car Dog Cage, securing your dog inside while still allowing light to enter, making sure that your dog can see outside, allowing them to become familiar with and more relaxed in their surroundings. As well as this, the Double Door Car Dog Cage also comes with a flat metal tray that acts as an internal base for this piece, creating a smooth surface for your dog to lie down on that is a little kinder than the metal mesh structure.

This structure is made from a heavy gauge wire that holds your dog firmly inside, coping well with any weight, while also able to stand up to any biting or struggling that may occur should your dog become distressed. Along with this, a powder coated finish on this metal preserves its finish, able to be scraped and bumped around without the risk of breaking down or becoming weaker.

• Q. Bit confused about the width and depth of the medium size, are the doors on the longer side of the cage? the depth is 32, which one would imagine is from front to back?

  As requested, the two door dog cages we have come with a choice of 1 front door, or one with a 2nd door at the back.

  There is one door on the front facing side, and one door on the end sloping side.
