The Haiti Parrot Bird Cage is suitable for Dwarf Macaws, Large Conures, Amazons & African Greys (not suitable for cockatoos). The cage has bar spacing of 2.5cm. The cage is built to designs based on extensive knowledge of bird and animal requirements.

There is great attention to detail and all of our cages are manufactured to very high quality standards. The cages are all oven baked, powder coated and finished with non-toxic paints, (Independent toxicity test results are available) resulting in a long lasting and safe environment for pets.

The Haiti Parrot and Parakeet Cage has 3 feeder bowls, a seed catcher and 2 perches supplied with it. The 2 segments at the top of the cage open up, with the perch across them. The bird cage comes with the stand included!

• The Haiti parrot & parakeet cage by Montana is excellent! It is all that we would wish for in a parrot cage. At first, our Senegal parrot was afraid of going inside but within a few hours she was right at home. The features appealed to us: a) the bottom of the cage can slide out for easy cleaning of the bottom. b) there is a grill which can also slide out for cleaning (in our old cage she was going to the bottom of the cage and ripping up the paper which wasn't hygienic) c) there are little wheels for the cage to be moved about. d) The little guards around the bottom outside area are good for catching bits of nuts. e) There is plenty of space for moving about in and for toys and perches.

• Q. Hi, Need help desperately..... I have an Umbrella Cockatoo.......Is this cage suitable for him? If not which one?? He is very clever at escaping - and has currently destroyed most of his current cage by tearing the metal bars off (we have had to use chains and paclocks to secure it!)

  I'm sorry for taking so long to get back to you, but I wanted to have the best information that I could for you. After conferring with a few experts, the advice I would like to bring forward is that you need to have bars that are at a min 5mm think. The main issue is that Cockatoo's have a reputation of jail breaking from cages.   The Haiti is not suitable for cockateil’s the bar spacing on this cage is to wide.
