Beneath this metal section, the plastic base creates a sturdy floor while also creating a solid section at the bottom of each wall, preventing any mess from escaping. A mesh flooring allows for dirt and dropped food to fall into a removable plastic drawer which can easily be removed and emptied without causing undue stress to your pet. As well as this, the plastic used here has a smooth surface finish that is able to be easily wiped down and rinsed off, making cleaning extremely simple.
