The Manzanita Perch is a fantastic perch made from natural tropical hardwood. As a result, it is resistant to the chewing attempts of most birds and the natural shape and texture of the perch prevents sores on the bird's feet and helps them to exercise.

Like any wood, the Manzanita Perch can split but this is not a fault. The splitting indicates the hardness of the wood and your bird will benefit from a harder wooden perch.

As long as you provide plenty other material for your bird to chew on, this fantastic perch will last a long time.
