To increase palatability, OptiBird has been made in a fruity flavour for your bird to really enjoy its delicious food. Convert your bird to OptiBird feed by mixing it with the current food and slowly increasing the proportion of the new food and decreasing the proportion of the old food over a minimum of 10 to 14 days.

OptiBird Medium should be offered as a free choice food for your parrot. This way, they can decide when they would like to eat and they can enjoy it their food at their own free will. It provides a complete nutritional package and therefore should constitute not less then 90% of the total dry matter intake on a daily basis. As a guideline your pet bird should be fed with approximately 15 - 20% of their bodyweight in food per day. Of course, as a conscientious bird owner, you will always provide fresh and clean water for your pet to drink.

To keep this food fresher for longer, it is best stored in a cool, dry place free from pests and insects. Remember to re-close the bag after use.
