Parvovirucide has a broad spectrum of activity and rapid action time and is even active in dirty conditions. It mixes in cold/hard water, remains stable in dilution and has residual activity of 7 days.

• Q. I am looking for a disinfectant for my aviary of grass parakeets. Would this be suitable would I need to remove birds while cleaning?

  ParvoVirucide is safe to use for birds, they have to be removed from the aviary and the solution allowed to dry before they are returned.

  Our stable disinfectant, Defense 7, is DEFRA approved for Poultry diseases including avian influenza, influenza of avian origin in mammals, Newcastle disease, paramyxovirus at the dilution rate of 1:300, the same precautions apply.

• Q. how often should parvovirucide be reapplyed

  The answer to your question really depends on the area it is being used on. For an area with a lot of dogs such as a commercial kennel it is recommended to apply at least once a day, where as use for a single animal would be recommended to approx once or twice a week.
